Most founders who come to us for Google Ads aren't starting from zero. They've run campaigns. Maybe hired an agency. Spent money. Got some results. But the unit economics never quite worked, or the agency couldn't scale past a certain threshold without torching ROAS.

We're not an agency. We don't charge a percentage of spend or a flat retainer. We deploy capital into the operational side—strategist, account manager, creative producer, landing page developer, analytics setup—and take revenue share over 24 months. You fund the media budget itself: the money that goes to Google for Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and Local Services Ads. We fund the people who make those dollars work.

This is the Orange County hub for Google Ads. We run this service across eight cities: Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Fullerton, Orange. Click any city below for local market specifics.

Why Orange County

Orange County's search landscape is dense and expensive. If you're in legal, healthcare, real estate, home services, or B2B professional services, your cost-per-click is already high. Competitors with deeper pockets or legacy agency relationships dominate the auction. Organic reach is slow. Paid search is the fastest way to predictable lead flow, but only if you can afford to iterate without burning out.

We see founders who've tested Google Ads in-house, hit a ceiling, and stalled. Or they hired an agency that optimized for vanity metrics—impressions, clicks—without tying campaigns to actual revenue. The agency made money whether you did or not. That misalignment kills momentum.

Orange County also has high customer lifetime values in key verticals. A new client in wealth management, dental, or litigation can be worth $15K to $150K over three years. That math changes how aggressively you can bid, which networks you test, and how much you invest in conversion infrastructure. But you need someone running the campaigns who understands that math and has skin in the outcome.

How We Partner

Here's how the capital deployment works. We cover the operational costs: the strategist who audits your account and builds the roadmap, the account manager who runs daily optimizations, the creative team that produces ad variants and landing pages, the developer who implements conversion tracking and builds out your CRM integrations, and the analyst who models attribution and LTV. That's MarketStra's capital at risk.

You fund the media spend. Every dollar that goes to Google—whether it's Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, or Local Services Ads—comes from your budget. You control the daily cap. You approve spend increases. You see exactly where the money goes.

We take revenue share on the incremental revenue those campaigns generate over 24 months. If the campaigns don't produce revenue, we don't get paid. If they scale, we scale together. The diagnostic we run before deployment—called Scout—tells us whether the unit economics support this model. If they don't, we'll say so upfront.

What's Included

Account Audit and Build

We start with a full teardown of your existing account or a greenfield setup if you're starting fresh. Campaign structure, keyword grouping, negative lists, audience segmentation, bid strategy, conversion tracking, attribution windows. Most accounts we inherit are either over-segmented or under-segmented. We rebuild for clarity and scalability.

Search Campaigns

Branded, competitor, category, and long-tail search. Exact match where intent is clear, phrase match where we need volume. Ad copy testing in two-week cycles. Callout extensions, sitelinks, structured snippets all populated and rotated. Daily bid adjustments based on device, location, time of day.

Shopping and Performance Max

Product feed optimization for ecommerce or service catalog businesses. Performance Max for lead gen or complex buyer journeys. Asset testing across image, video, headline, and description variants. We feed Google's machine learning but don't rely on it blindly—manual audience exclusions and placement pruning happen weekly.

Remarketing and Display

We retarget site visitors who didn't convert, segment by page depth and session duration, and suppress recent converters. Display primarily for awareness in high-LTV verticals where brand recall matters. Video on YouTube for mid-funnel education where appropriate.

Local Services Ads

For home services, legal, and healthcare, LSA can outperform Search in cost-per-lead. We manage your profile, respond to booking requests, handle dispute resolution, and optimize your service area targeting. This sits outside the main Google Ads interface but integrates into the same reporting dashboard.

Landing Pages and Conversion Infrastructure

Most campaigns fail at the landing page. We build or rebuild pages for speed, message match, and mobile conversion. Form logic, chat integrations, phone tracking, CRM handoff—all instrumented so we know which keywords and ads produce revenue, not just leads.

Attribution and Reporting

Multi-touch attribution modeling tied to your CRM or revenue source of truth. Weekly dashboards, monthly deep-dives. We track cost-per-acquisition, ROAS, LTV-to-CAC ratio, and payback period. If a campaign isn't working, you'll know within two weeks, not two months.

24-Month Outcomes

  • Campaigns that break even or better on first purchase within 60-90 days
  • 15-30% improvement in cost-per-acquisition over baseline in first 120 days
  • Clear attribution from keyword to revenue, updated weekly
  • Scalable daily spend increases without ROAS deterioration
  • Improved Quality Scores and lower CPCs as account history builds
  • Predictable lead flow that supports hiring and inventory planning
  • Month 12-24: campaigns operating profitably at 2-4x initial spend levels

Common Questions

How much ad spend do I need to budget?

Depends on vertical and market. In Orange County, $3K-$5K/month is table stakes for most B2B or professional services. Home services and healthcare often need $7K-$12K/month to see meaningful volume. We'll tell you the floor during Scout based on your cost-per-click estimates and conversion rate assumptions.

What if I already have an agency running Google Ads?

We're not an agency, so the model is different. If your current agency is performing, there's no reason to switch. If they're not, we can run Scout to see if revenue share alignment changes the outcome. Most founders who move to us were paying a percentage of spend or a flat retainer regardless of results.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We guarantee effort and transparency. Our capital is at risk—if the campaigns don't produce revenue, we don't get paid. That's the closest thing to a performance guarantee without making promises we can't control. Scout diagnostic gives us both a realistic range before we deploy.

How do you handle media spend increases?

You approve them. We'll recommend increases when the data supports it—typically when ROAS holds or improves at higher spend levels. But you control the budget. If cash flow is tight in a given month, you can dial it back. We adjust execution accordingly.

Can I run this in multiple cities at once?

Yes. We operate across Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Fullerton, and Orange. Geo-targeting within Google Ads lets us allocate budget and creative by city or zip code. If you serve multiple OC markets, we build that into campaign structure from day one.

What happens after 24 months?

Revenue share term ends. You own all the campaign infrastructure, landing pages, creative, and historical data. You can keep running the campaigns in-house, hire an agency, or negotiate a new term with us if you want to scale into a different service area.
